But becoming a 3M Preferred Installer isn’t something that happens overnight. It requires rigorous training, a commitment to excellence, and a passion for transforming spaces with stunning graphics. Read on to discover what a 3M Preferred Installer is, what it takes to earn this prestigious title, and how working with a 3M Preferred Installer like Oddball Branding can take your project to the next level!
The Path to Becoming a Preferred Graphics Installer
Becoming a 3M Preferred Installer is no easy feat. It involves rigorous training and testing, ensuring that the installer possesses the necessary skills to handle a variety of tasks. The 3M Preferred Installer test is performance-based and consists of both hands-on and written portions. It’s designed to evaluate the installer’s skills and knowledge in graphic installation.
The 3M Vehicle Color Change program is one of the areas where these skills are put to the test. This three-day course is focused on teaching installers how to expertly apply 3M™ Wrap Film Series 2080, a popular choice for vehicle wraps due to its high-quality finish and durability.
Delivering Quality across Windows, Walls, and Floors
A 3M Preferred Installer isn’t limited to vehicles. They are also proficient in installing graphics on windows, walls, and floors. This versatility allows them to take on a wide range of projects, from fleet graphics for businesses to custom designs for homes and offices. Whether it’s a vibrant wall mural or a sleek window decal, they can bring any design to life with precision and attention to detail.
Upholding the Professional Standards of 3M
Being a 3M Preferred Installer is about more than just technical skills. It’s about upholding the professional standards set by 3M. This includes maintaining a good reputation as a professional installer and providing excellent and timely service.
3M also requires potential candidates to submit pictures of previous work, proof of business tenure, and insurance documentation. This rigorous vetting process ensures that only the most qualified and reliable installers are awarded the 3M Preferred Installer title.
Fleet Graphics: A Specialized Skillset
One area where a 3M Preferred Installer truly shines is in fleet graphics. Installing graphics on a fleet of vehicles requires a unique set of skills. From understanding the intricacies of the 3M fleet products to ensuring a consistent look across different vehicles, a 3M Preferred Installer has the expertise to handle this specialized task.
The result? High-quality fleet graphics that not only look great but also stand the test of time. Whether it’s for a small business or a large corporation, a 3M Preferred Installer can deliver exceptional results every time.
